Many people in the community have had the privilege of using our beautiful elementary school walking path. It was an absolute labor of love, and I use it regularly from spring to fall. As you may have noticed, the walking path is needing some attention and basic maintenance. It is a large undertaking for one or two people, but merely a couple hours of work for the community if we come together. The Downtown Mayville Business Improvement Zone is sponsoring an “Adopt a Station” event on Sunday May 15th from 1-3 p.m. Each sponsor (whether an individual, group or business) will be assigned one station to stain, repair, weed and mulch. If we have more volunteers then stations we can branch out and repair even more around the walking path. Reach out to me personally if interested!
